October has been and will continue to be my favorite month of the year. I love it. The summer is over and things begin to cool down. The leaves begin to change colors and the grass stops needing cut. I mean what is there not to like about October.
Our church children and youth have a few things planned. One is to participate in the Sweet Potato Festival in Ocilla. They have planned to ride on a float with a sign that says God is the Great I Yam. Get it?
The next big thing they have planned is the Church Fall Festival. They will have some games set up where the kids in the community can play and get some candy. It will also be a good time to get to share Christ.
